Favourite Word Press Plugins

I get a ton of questions asking how I got my blog to do this or how do I do this with my blog. One of the great things about wordpress are the plugins. Plugins are basically added features and ALOT easier to install and use than you think. 99% of the time it is a matter of uploading one tiny file to the plug-in file of your wordpress directory.

My favourite and often used plug-ins:
Static Front Page Allows you to keep the main page or index page of your blog the same- never changing. this is useful for those using wordpress or blog as CMS.

Google Adsense Deluxe Plug is hands down my favourite plug-in This is for sites that use AdSense in their blogs as a way to generate income and makes it SO easy! All you do is paste your Google AdSense code into the options section. Whenever you post adding AdSense code to your site is as simple as one click.
Another trick with the AdSense plugin is that you can use for any code snippets. I use for word wrap code and other often used html code. Theoretically you could use it for anything.

Google Site map Generator plugin is a MUST have. Create a Google site map instantly.

To list recent post try recent posts and comments plugin http://www.ozpolitics.info/blog/?page_id=164#comments. You will see it at work in my right sidebar. I don’t use the comment function.
