Add Your Name To PayPerPost Petition- Petition to Allow All Users Early Access to Argus

Argus will not be available to all its users until at least January.

PayperPost aka IZEA is allowing a select group of users access to their new metrics calculator, presently called “ARGUS” .
Currently most users have to wait until January to have access to the platform. If you were at PostieCon or on beta testing board you can have access. Currently PPP opportunities are available based on Google page rank and Alexa traffic rank.

Many “Posties” saw their page rank take a huge drop over the last month and severely limit their ability to earn money through PayPerPost. The drop has been attributed to selling paid links . Google has openly said that it views bloggers taking PPP opportunities as selling page rank and devalued sites.

            1. tulsa- drop of 2 points

            2. If PPP doesn’t want to allow early access to Argus, then posties should ask PPP to educate the advertisers. Let them work the kinks out of Argus but also inform and educate the advertisers that a new PR3 is the same as an old PR5 or PR6.

The main problem isn’t technology and updates, it is communication. PPP needs to communicate with the advertisers when google changes its metrics. Look at how many ops are just sitting there, of no use to posties or advertisers.
Maybe you should start a petition asking PPP to send out an email to advertisers that addresses the entire google situation. I bet a few advertisers that would sign it as well.

            3. Fantastagirl – drop of 2 points.

and I agree – PPP should be talking to the advertisers to work something out.
