Google Page Rank Update.. Round 5.. or is it 6?

Just when PayPerPost users thought it couldn’t get any worse- it just did. Countless blogs with a healthy page rank one month ago now show a PR0 in Google toolbar.

“I Signed Up for PayPerPost and My Page Rank Dropped”

Google has killed page rank in a slow and painful manner. Slowly dropping rank 1 and 2 points at a time for some bloggers.
The culprit seems to be Google interpretation of paid posts as selling page rank- and they are hitting bloggers hard.

A large majority of bloggers using PayPerPost services are stay at home moms and dads who use the income help their families- and have really been feeling the punch. The money is not just for extras but helps pay the bills. The response from bloggers has been to feel bullied by Google.

Google did warn that they would penalize sites that “sold” page links several weeks ago and have come through on that promise.
