Switching Over to Wi-Fi Cell Phone From Blackberry

I is with some shame that I admit I lose my cell phones regularly. And lost one again about a month ago. It is most likely somewhere in our house or has been folded u into a newspaper and put into recycling or fallen somewhere never to be seen again.
So I have been living a month without a phone. This week I gave up and resigned myself that the phone is gone and I can’t go any longer without a cell phone.

Great Deal On Blackberry Pearl

That I just couldnt pass up.. and did.
I had pretty much decided on a BlackBerry Pearl. They had a good deal on at Coscto and with my hardware upgrade the cost was going to be 50.00. I was literally about to pay for it when I thought I better sleep on it. It was a fantastic deal but I was annoyed by the data packages of 25-60.00 a month.
I would be tied into another 3 year contract with bell mobility and a data package of a minimum 15.00 for Blackberry services- that was just for email and no data transfer.
One of my girlfriends uses her to get her email- for free. I went back and asked some question and I was in fact on the right track- The EXTREMELY helpful sales clerk dealing with all the phones and plans told me that all phones would be wi-fi and getting stuck in a data plan was a bad idea.

He recommended I wait a month and get the Samsung Instinct, a phone that has been deemed the iPhone Killer and a phone that has been the only serious contender to come up against Apple’s iPhone. I did some reading and I am pretty much sold.
In an effort to undercut iPhone pricing at Rogers Bell Mobility will be offering an unlimited browsing package for 10.00 a month compared to iPhone 60.00 plan.

I will have to get the nitty gritty n what they mean by “unlimited” has I have yet to find a package where unlimited really meant unlimited.

So… I am using my husband’s old Nokia 6586 for now 9 which I HATE, keys are too small.)
