This is for my own benefit- keep forgetting hoe to type in the copyright symbol on standard keyboard and god forbid I write it down on peice of paper or put in text file on Desktop.
To get the copy right to appear type Alt+0169 ( numbers must be types in using number keyboard) symbol will appear when you lift from alt key.

Question is will I remember all those numbers?
Finally I do not have to find a website with the sign and copy it to my website.

Good shortcut.By the way you can get all ASCII characters by the same way.For example alt+185 will produce this ╣, aly+245=☻,alt+= 254= ■ and so on.They also include symbols for currencies too.

Great tip, but don’t forget to turn your Num Lock on, otherwise it won’t work!
Ooo, very nice, didn’t know this was possible, I did know you can use ALT+Numpad to type foreign accents etc, but didn’t know you could do this! Hopefully I will remember this and be able to use it quicker rather than googling around for the symbol.

Don’t wish to sound like i’m getting above my station but its pretty easy to just goto windows accessories>character map> find the symbol thats for you and it will automatically tell you the shortcut.

Do you know of a KEYBOARD shortcut to safely remove your usb flash from their drives without using your mouse?
