Fabulous Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop Tutorials
Ever the masochists I keep baning my head against the wall. I often write that I have been trying to have a working ability to use Photoshop for close to 12 years no with next to know headway. I am beginning to think I have an Adobe learning disability.
So whats a girl to do? Continue the madness but delving into vector design band Adobe Illustrator. What is wring with me?
In my travails I cam across an outstanding website that feature fantastic Illustrator Tutorials.
Is is bad to say tha other people talent makes me depressed? I often feel that if I can be “as good” not worth doing. I have to master everything I have an interest in and get depressed when I can’t.
At any rate- check out the site and its Illustrator Tutorials it is really good for the challenged liek me ![]()

Thank you for finding these tutorials! as a novice practitioner of adobe illustrators these are really great tutorials!
“Adobe learning disability.” lolz
I too have been learning how to use adobe. And the same with you, I cant figure it really out on how to use all the buttons. I spent days learning to make a simple logo for my blog. And still I can’t do it. I hope the Illustrator Tutorials you found can make me a bit better with adobe. Great post.
Personally I spend time on the things I’m good at and then outsource the rest. Doing what I do best will easily make me able to pay for others to do what they’re good at.
I agree ilustrator is awesome for vector images, but you should try following some basic PS tutorials, because Photoshop is VERY powerful. It gets much easier.
I have been using Photoshop for about a year now and I use it for making forum signatures, userbars, banners and all that good stuff. i am really starting to get in to designing where I actually want to do it at a professional level. I am only 16 so I still have some time to star learning new things and become experienced using some design programs like illustrator and photoshop.

I recently created a webdesign template using Adobe Illustrator, and saved it for the web and devices. Now I want to slice the image so that I can add it to Adobe Dreamweaver for use on the web. What would be the best option for me to slice the image up?
Thank god! Finally some good illustrator tutorials. I don’t know why, but I can use photoshop like a pro, but when it comes to illustrator I have no clue what I’m doing. It’s ridiculous. Thanks so much for sharing this!
The actual Photoshop program has great tutorials built in. I believe they are in the help menu- maybe search ‘tutorial’ in the help menu. I would check it out myself for you but I do not have that program anymore, I am going by memory. If I recall, you can type in ‘paths’ in the help menu and it explains how to use them. Also, the Photoshop handbook is very helpful. The one they use in colleges. It takes you step by step through each feature.
Sound like you need an expert to show you around. Maybe you could find an expert who wants to do a skill-swap…?
THANKS! You have saved about 10 hours a week for me.
I am still a loopy learner with both programs and these will go a long way to get me going.
Thanks
