WordPress Database error : Table ‘mydatabase.wp_post2cat’ doesn’t exist

I am having probably the worst time upgrading to a newer version of wordpress that I have ever had. Some of the issues have just been plain dumb on my part.. this one wasn’t my fault and relatively easy to fix .

After making first post after the upgrade to WordPress 2.3 , I got an error with this string:

WordPress database error: [Table 'mydatabase.wp_post2cat' doesn't exist]

Turned out it was Google Sitemaps plugin . When I deactivated the plugin problem was gone.
You just have to upgrade to different version of Google Sitemap plugin:

Argh… MyBlogLog and Yahoo finally Merge

Or rather Yahoo swallows up mybloglog , one of my favourite blog resources. I went to login today and was greeted with a yahoo page. I knoew it was coming .. but put it out of mind. I was taken through series of hoops to merge the accounts. I don;t know why I am ticked- I just am. I LIKE little companies and a HATE big information acquiring companies… I am not sure I am comfortable with Yahoo have access now to my personal info and now all my blog entries.

What kind of Audio file should you use for Podcasts?

Without question the safest file to use for you podcast is MP3. Most people will have no trouble playing back.
The best thing you can do in terms of making it easy for users is to make the smallest possible file size with least amount of impact on the sound quality. Having your podcast in stereo will make file significantly larger. If you are just going to “talk” there is no problem with setting your audio capture to “mono”.

Play with the bit rates. This will have biggest impact on file size.
Some suggestions for your MP3 capture settings:

48 – 56k Mono – speeches “talk” radio, audio books.
64k+ Stereo – music, music & talk combinations
128k Stereo – almost cd quality music

My top pick in terms of ease of use and quaility audio capture is Blaze Media Pro.
