Not sure if I have mentioned but I really, really , really hate iTunes. I have a Creative Zen Mp3 player
that I love and usually use this for most of my MP3 playback. Another plus to using the Creative Zen is battery life is 20+ hours AND GET *MAYBE* 8 hours with my iPhone (3G).
I totally love my iPhone for pretty much everything else and would never part with it. I absolutely hates iTunes however. One feature that I do like about iPhone is the ability to download podcasts over-wi-fi. I can download my favourite podcasts directly to the phone without having to deal with iStore or iTunes basically with just one click.
I will say it it again:
I HATE iTunes!

Remove Podcasts From iPhone and iTouch

I have 44 episodes of my favourite podcasts on my iPhone and I can not get them off. Till now. Nothing I do in iTunes will remove them. I have spent about 3 hours searching for a fix with no luck. Today I accidentally found an EASY quick way o get rid of my podcasts and best of all its iTunes free.
It is so easy.
When in Podcast mode on iPhone/iTouch and you have list if various podcasts, go to the list of single type of podcast. The, swipe RIGHT to LEFT with finger across the podcast you want to delete and voila!!! A red delete button will appear and you can just delete.
Haven’t checked yet but may also work for music.
If there is someway to get rid of podcasts in iTunes, I still would like to know!

Took me a couple of seconds to figure this one out- after upgrading to latest version of Firefox the fist thing I noticed was I no longer had a back button for my browser. I use this HEAVILY and can’t believe I am the only one. Not sure why they would remove this function from the navigation toolbar. As is you can go back in FireFox by right clicking mouse and clicking back or do same by clicking Edit menu. What a drag!

Restoring you back button in Firefox is relatively easy and takes about 5 seconds. Go to View->Toolbars-Customize. You will see set of arrows ( back/forward) drag this button to your navigation toolbar and voila!

This is for my own benefit- keep forgetting hoe to type in the copyright symbol on standard keyboard and god forbid I write it down on peice of paper or put in text file on Desktop.

To get the copy right to appear type Alt+0169 ( numbers must be types in using number keyboard) symbol will appear when you lift from alt key.

I wrote about the mystery of why a few pages on one of my blogs were only showing AdSense public service ads or no ads at all in earlier post, Google Adense Ads Not Showing Up or Appearing as Public Service Ads.
I did report the problem and was pleasantly surprised at ow quickly they fixed. Took them about a week and I thought they would never fix , ignore or fix months from now.

They could give me no reason why the problem happened- this is basically the email I received:

Thanks for your patience. Our team was able to restore the AdSense ads to
your site. I’ve reviewed your pages and verified that ads are up and
running again. Please let me know if there’s anything else I can do.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I wasn’t comfortable with the wait and see if it fixes itself. Time waiting for it to adjust is time not making money and doesn’t cost more than a few minutes to send off an email requesting help.
